THIRD WINNER FOR DURING!
GREAT PATRIOT
became the THIRD WINNER from the First Crop of our Freshman Sire DURING with his debut victory in the 6th race at Monmouth Park, a five and one-half furlong maiden special weight over the fast main track.

Breaking from post one, GREAT PATRIOT was away sharply and held his position along the rail just off the leader's flank. Moving to take the lead around the turn, he was challenged and headed at the top of the stretch, but he wasn't finished. Showing the tenacity of his sire, he found more, retook the lead and gamely prevailed by a half-length.

GREAT PATRIOT races for Patriot Stables and he is trained by Timothy Hills. Bred in Florida by Alfonso Figliolia he is out of the Regal Classic mare, November Moon.
