MARE IN FOAL TO EDDINGTON SELLS FOR $520,000!
The first mare through the ring at the 2007 Keeneland Breeding Stock Sale carrying a foal by EDDINGTON was purchase for $520,000 by B. Wayne Hughes. Carrying her first foal, Hip 1068 was consigned by Eaton Sales, Agent for Overbrook Farm. By Deputy Minister, she was produced by the stakes producing, Grade 1 winning Carson City mare, City Band.

EDDINGTON FIRST CROP WEANLING SELLS FOR $105,000!
A weanling colt from the first crop of Grade 1 winner EDDINGTON was purchased for $105,000 today at the 2007 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. Consigned by Warrendale Sales, Agent XII, he was purchased by B & K Stables. Produced by the Saint Ballado mare, Appealing Jewel, he is from the family of champion Speightstown.

The first two reported foals by EDDINGTON, our Grade 1-winning, Classic-placed son of Leading Sire UNBRIDLED, were born earlier this week in Kentucky.
The first, a filly out of winning Top Account mare, Junkinthetruck, was foaled January 13 at John Penn’s John Penn Farm in Paris. It is the second foal from the mare who is a half-sister to three stakes winners.
EDDINGTON'S second foal is a colt out of stakes-placed Souvenir Copy mare, Favorite Times, who arrived on January 17 at Carrie and Craig Brogden’s Machmer Hall also in Paris.
January 11, 2007:
Through the first four sessions of the 2007 Keeneland Horses of All Ages Sale, the five mares carrying foals from the first crop of Grade 1 winner and Classic-placed EDDINGTON have averaged $116,000! Topping this group was the Graded Stakes Winner Lady Dora, who was consigned by Claiborne Farm, Claiborne Farm, Agent for the Complete Estate Dispersal of F. Eugene Dixon, Jr. She was purchased by Bill Reightler, Agent for $190,000. Claiborne Farm, Agent also consigned the young Deputy Minister mare, Kootenai, in foal to EDDINGTON and she was purchase for $160,000 by Lavin Bloodstock.
November, 2006:
The first mares in foal ot EDDINGTON were very well received at the 2006 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. Individuals sold for $250,000, $170,000, $160,000, $150,000, $120,000, etc. In all, a dozen mares in foal to EDDINGTON were sold for an average of $112,000 and a median of $105,000.
