August 22, 2008:
SILVER FLATTERS
pressed the pace and drew away in the stretch to win the 5th race at Pinnacle Race Course going six furlongs over the fast track.

The 3-year-old FLATTER filly was outside the other speed and the two set out in lively duel. Waging a match race to midstretch, SILVER FLATTERS found something more, opening up in the lates stages to win by two lengths.

Bred in Kentucky by Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stiles, she is out of the Silver Buck mare, Cherokee Silver. She races for the partnership of her trainer Laura Jackson and Jim Rankin.

August 11, 2008:
TAR HEEL MOM
, the 3-year-old daughter of FLATTER, romped to a five and one-quarter length victory in the 3rd race at Saratoga Race Course, a seven furlong allowance over the muddy main track.

TAR HEEL MOM rated just off the early leader. Advancing around the turn, she took the lead at the top of the stretch and galloped away to an easy wins.

Now two-for-three lifetime, TAR HEEL MOM races for Alex Rankin and she is trained by Stanley Hough. Bred in Kentucky by Upson Downs Farm, she is out of the Sunny's Halo mare, Perpetual Light.

August 5, 2008:
BEYOND CHALLENGE
, the 3-year-old son of FLATTER, earned the first victory of his career with a frontrunning score in the six furlong maiden special weight carded as the 6th race at Finger Lakes.

Breaking from the outside post in the field of seven, BEYOND CHALLENGE was first out of the gate and he went straight to the front. Pressured for the first half-mile, he finished off that challenger and set sail for home. Never asked for his best, he won in hand by nearly three lengths.

BEYOND CHALLENGE was bred in New York by the partnership of Hidden Lake Farm LLC and Joan T. Simpson and he is out of the Meadowlake mare, Dangerous Beauty. He races for Suzann Bobley and is trained by George Weaver.

August 3, 2008:
FLATTERING REPORT
made quick work of the field and score his maiden victory in the 1st race at Louisiana Downs going one mile and seventy yards over the fast main track.

The 3-year-old son of FLATTER was under a snug hold as he sat just behind the leading pair for the first half-mile. Unable to settle any longer, FLATTERING REPORT moved outside and took over the lead. Turning for home, he was let out a notch and his lead began to open. He kept running to the wire and the margin was nearly nine lengths in the end.

Bred in Kentucky by Brilliant Stables, Inc., he is out of the Corporate Report mare, Unincorporated. Racing for Robert G. Looney, he is trained by Mike  Burgess.

August 1, 2008:
TAMO TIGER
was the first of two maiden winners today for FLATTER. The 3-year-old gelding made a strong stretch rally to win the 2nd race at Louisiana Downs going six and one-half furlongs over the fast main track.

Letting the leaders take a five length lead over the initial half-mile, TAMO TIGER moved in contention around the turn and he engaged the leader nearing the eighth pole. He took over moved away to a two and one-half length victory.

TAMO TIGER races for Frank Fletcher Racing Operations and he is trained by W. Howard. He is out of the Afleet mare, Afleet Summer.

INDY CUE, the 2-year-old filly, earned her diploma in the 4th race at Prairie Meadows, a five and one-half fulong maiden special weight over the fast main track.

Breaking from post seven, she was forced into a wide trip, but it didn't matter. Circling the field out in the five path around the turn and into the stretch, she ran down the leader inside the final furlong and went on to win by one length.

INDY CUE is an Iowa homebred racing for Lane Thorougbreds LLC and she is trained by Stuart Clinton. She is out of the French Deputy mare, French Cue.
 

July 29, 2008:
FLATTEST
, the 3-year-old son of FLATTER, romped to victory by nearly nine lengths in the 2nd race at Prairie Meadows, a six furlong maiden special weight over the fast main track.

FLATTEST did not break well, but quickly recovered to challenge for the lead. In the middle of three contenders, he took the lead midway around the final turn and drew away with ease through the stretch to gain is first career win.

FLATTEST was bred in Iowa by J & K Farms and he is out of the Lord At War (Arg) mare, Go to War. He races for Allan Larsen and he is trained by Chris Richard.

The second maiden winner on the Prairie Meadows card was CADETINTHEREDSASH, who came from off the pace to score in the 5th race, also going five furlongs over the fast main track.

Rallying from eight lengths back with two furlongs to run, the 3-year-old gelding moved to the five path at the top of the stretch and came running. He made up all that ground and got his head in front a couple of jumps before the finish. His winning margin was a neck.

CADETINTHEREDSASH races for Paul Tonderum and he is trained by David McShane. He was bred in Iowa by Maureen Merkler and he was produced by the Distinctive Pro mare, I Fell for the Pro.

July 15, 2008:
FLATTER YEARLING AT FASIG-TIPTON JULY
FLATTER
has one yearling from his third crop consigned to the 2008 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July Yearling Sale on July 15.

Hip 516 is a chestnut filly consigned by Blake Agency, Agent. A half-brother to two winners, he is out of the Grindstone mare, Flintheart, who is a half-sister to five winners including the stakes winning, graded stakes performer Who's John Galt and the stakes-placed Faithful Heart. This is the family of Broodmare of the year Radiant Ring and champions Eillo, Catch the Ring, Catch the Thrill and G1 winners Flat Feet Fleet and Gygistar.

May 19, 2008:
SILVER FLATTERS
gained her third career victory, taking the six furlong allowance carded at the 6th race at Thistledown by more than seven lengths.

The 3-year-old filly engaged in a pace duel for the first three furlongs. She began to get away from the rest coming off the final turn and she drew away to win easily.

Bred in Kentucky by Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stiles, SILVER FLATTERS is out of the Silver Buck mare, Cherokee Silver. She races for the partnership of Laura Jackson and Jim Rankin and she is trained by James Jackson.

May 16, 2006:
EMBARRASSED
, the 3-year-old son of FLATTER, used a strong stretch run to break his maiden in the 2nd race at Churchill Downs going five and one-half furlongs over the fast main track.

Waiting in the second flight just off the early leaders, EMBARRASSED had to wait until the field was set down for the drive to find a clear path to run. When the hole opened passing the eighth pole, he burst between rivals, took the lead and ran away to win by more than seven lengths.

EMBARRASSED races for Mrs. S. K. Johnston, Jr. and he is trained by Walter Bindner, Jr. Bred in Kentucky by James S. Karp, he is the second foal from the Kayrawan mare, Stormy Blast.

May 15, 2008:
AUNT MABEL
is the first winner from FLATTER's second crop. The 2-year-old filly earned her first career victory in the first race of the day on the Pimlico Race Course card, a maiden special weight going four and one-half furlongs over the fast main track at Pimlico.

Breaking from the inside post, AUNT MABEL raced just behind the leading pair through the opening quarter. Moving out to the three path at the top of the stretch, she caught and passed the leaders with a furlong to run and came home nearly five lengths in front of the second place finisher.

The second foal from the winning Go For Gin mare, Mask, AUNT MABEL was bred in Kentucky by Mt. Carmel Farm. Racing for Jesse R. Walsh , she is trained by Rachael Lively.

May 5, 2008:
CASEY'S WAY
, the 3-year-old daughter of FLATTER, defeated the field of older runners in the 6th race at Will Rogers Downs going five furlongs over the fast track.

CASEY'S WAY was first out of the gate and that didn't change for the entire trip. Leading by a half-length early on, she increased her lead at every call and was three and one-half lengths best at the wire.

Bred in Arkansas by Gale Foley and Mike Williamson, CASEY'S WAY races for her breeders. The first foal from the Favorite Trick mare, Cascading Falls, she is trained by Clifton Brooks.

April 29, 2008:
A. P. FLATTER
remained undefeated with her victory today in the 4th race at Turf Paradise, a six furlong allowance over the fast main track.

The 3-year-old FLATTER filly galloped along in second behind the leader going down the backstretch. When she was asked to close the gap, she lengthened her stride, took over at the top of the stretch and drew away with ease to win by more than seven lengths.

Bred in Kentucky by Claiborne Farm, A. P. FLATTER races for Jack Grunwald and she is traine by Bart Hone. She is out of the winning Alleged mare, Adalene.

April 6, 2008:
FLAT OUT RUN
raced wide throughout but it didn't keep the daughter of FLATTER  away from the winner's circle in the 3rd race at Mountaineer Park going six furlongs over fast main track.

Away in good order, FLAT OUT RUN had a bunch of fillies inside of her who wanted the elad, sho she was throttled back and took up a chasing position out in the five path. She went after the lead around the turn and was on even terms at the top of the stretch. Digging in, she took over a furlongs from home and opened up late to win by nearly four lengths.

FLAT OUT RUN races for David C. Harrison and she is trained by John M. Frazier. Produced by the Forty Niner mare, Territory, she was bred in Kentucky by David G. Harris.

April 5, 2008:
MR. FLATTER
, the 3-year-old son of FLATTER set the pace and stayed on well to finish third in the $85,000 Ocala Breeders' Sales Sophomore Stakes going seven furlongs over the fast main track.

MR. FLATTER has won or placed in five of his eight career starts. He races for owner/trainer Freddie Hyatt.

April 4, 2008:
SILVER FLATTERS
, the 3-year-old daughter of FLATTER, broke her maiden going five and one-half furlongs over the muddy main track in the 7th race at Mountaineer Park.

Breaking sharply from post six, SILVER FLATTERS immediately hooked-up in a duel for the early lead. Shaking off that filly two furlongs from home, she opened up through the stretch to win easily by six and one-half lengths.

SILVER FLATTERS races for Laura Jackson and Jim Rankin and he is trained by James Jackson. Bred in Kentucky by Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stiles, she is the third foal from the Silver Buck mare, Cherokee Silver.

April 2, 2008:
SLEWPY GIRL
, the daughter of FLATTER, got her nose on the wire when it counted to win the 3rd race at Turfway Park going one mile over the Polytrack.

Breaking on top but settling into third in the early going, SLEWPY GIRL didn't let them out of her sight. Moving to challege with a quarter-mile left to run, she engaged in a battle all the way to the finish. Neither filly gave in, but SLEWPY GIRL got the nod to win by a nose.

SLEWPY GIRL races for Scat Daddy Racing LLC and she is trained by Garry Simms. Bred by Charles Parker and Bradley Purcell, she is out of the Private Terms mare, Pink Slippers. 

March 28, 2008:
Two New Maiden Winners for Flatter today!
A. P. FLATTER
, the 3-year-old filly who was bred by Claiborne Farm, made a successful racing debut in the 5th race at Turf Paradise, a maiden optional/claimer going five and one-half furlongs over the fast main track.

Moving swiftly up the inside like a seasoned veteran after the break, she took over the lead going into the turn. She opened up through the stretch and kept to her task to win by nearly three lengths.

A. P. FLATTER races for Jack Grunwald and she is trained by Bart Hone. She is out of the winning Alleged mare, Adalene.

The second maiden winner was the 3-year-old colt TEDS BUDDY, who destroyed his field by more than eighteen lengths in the 2nd race at Turfway Park going one mile over the Polytrack.

TEDS BUDDY rated several lengths behind the early leader and the positions stayed that way until three furlongs from home. Closing in, he took over coming into the stretch and he galloped away to his impressive score.

TEDS BUDDY races for Robert Adams and he is trained by David Kinder. Bred in Kentucky by George Veloudis, Jr., he is out of the Link (FR) mare, Modern Maid (URU).

March 19, 2008:
FLATTER
has one juvenile from his second crop consigned to the 2008 Ocala Breeders' Sales Company March Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale which is being conducted on March 18-19.

HIP 378 is a dark bay filly consigned by Shadybrook Farm, Inc. (Michael Yates), Agent III. She is a half-sister to six winners from six to race produced by the stakes-placed At the Threshold mare, Katie Katie, who is also a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Firery Ensign, record setting stakes winner Senor Verde and four additional half-sisters who are stakes producers. March 15, 2008:
FLATTER ME BLUE
, who had finished second previously, made his visti to the winner's circle in his third start, a six furlong, maiden special weight carded as the 3rd race over the wet fast track.

The son of FLATTER was first out of the gate and a dispute for the lead was on. FLATTER ME BLUE was a length best after a half-mile and he was never headed thereafter. He kept to his task through the stretch to win by two and one-quarter lengths.

FLATTER ME BLUE was bred in Kentucky by High Meadowns LLC LTD and Indian Creek. He is the third foal from the Private erms mare, Stipulation. He races for Timothy O'Toole and is trained by Myra Mora.

March 6, 2008:
MR. FLATTER
soundly defeated the field assembled for the 8th race at Tampa Bay Downs, a six furlong allowance over the fast main track.

The 3-year-old son of FLATTER was away sharply and he immediately engaged in a battle for the lead. The duel continued until midway around the far turn when MR. FLATTER began to move away. He opened up through the stretch and hit the wire nearly eight lengths best.

MR. FLATTER races for his trainer, Freddie Hyatt. Bred in Florida by Four Horsemen's Ranch, he is the first foal from the Distorted Humor mare, Plenty of Silver.

February 23, 2008:
CASEY'S WAY
, the daughter of FLATTER, had some trouble before the start, but once the gate opened, that was all forgotten and she galloped to victory in the 4th race at Oaklawn Park going five and one-half furlongs over the fast track.

Several of the fillies got upset prior to the start and broke through the gate. She was reloaded without incident and when the race started, she dashed off to the lead. Never headed, she opened up at the top of the stretch and coasted in a one and one-half length winner.

CASEY'S WAY is a homebred racing for Gale Foley and Mike Williamson and he is trained by Richard Jackson. She is the first foal from the Favorite Trick mare, Cascading Falls.

February 11, 2008:
Indy's Alexandra Second in OBS Championship Stakes!
INDY'S ALEXANDRA
, the 3-year-old daughter of FLATTER, set the pace and stayed on strongly to finished second in the $100,000 Darley OBS Championship Stakes going a mile and one-sixteenth over the Safetrack surface at the OBS Training Center.

 A stakes winner last season, this was her first stakes performance of 2008.

February 2, 2008:
Mr. Harry Third in WEBN Stakes!
MR. HARRY
turned in his second consecutive stakes performance with his third place finish in the $50,000 WEBN Stakes going one mile over the Polytrack at Turfway Park.

Setting all the pace till deep stretch, he stayed on gamely to earn show money.

January 5, 2008:
Mr. Harry Second in Turfway Prevue Stakes!
MR. HARRY
, the newly turned 3-year-old son of FLATTER, is the FIFTH black-type performer for his sire with a game second place finish in the $50,000 Turfway Prevue Stakes going a mile and one-sixteenth over the Polytrack at Turfway Park.<P>

MR. HARRY went straight to the lead and set a blazing pace. He dug in when challenged in deep stretch and was able to defeat all but the winner. He finished a little more than a length behind that one and it was nearly five lengths back to the third place finisher.

January 1, 2008:
NINETEENTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
FLATTER ME ROSE
is the NINETEENTH WINNER (and the sixth winner in the last week) from the first crop of FLATTER! The 3-year-old filly earned her maiden victory in her second lifetime outing, which came in the 3rd race at Turfway Park going five and one-half furlongs over the Polytrack at Turfway Park.

FLATTER ME ROSE kept within two lengths of the leaders as they dashed down the backstretch and around the turn. She took aim on the leaders at the top of the stretch, drew even by midstretch and left them behind to win by two and one-half lengths.

FLATTER ME ROSE was bred by Debbie Ellis in Kentucky and she was produced by the Saithor mare, My Last Rose. Racing for the partnership of Peggy Pate and Scott Arnold, she is trained by David Pate.

December 31, 2007:
TWO NEW MAIDEN WINNERS FOR FLATTER!
On the final day of the 2007 racing season, our Freshman Sire FLATTER had his SEVENTEENTH and EIGHTEENTH WINNER!

CHAMPAGNE EYES, who has been thought so highly of by her connections that she was campaigned exclusively in stakes races for her first three starts, made her first start in maiden special weight competition and she easily handled the field in the 2nrd race at Santa Anita going a mile and one-sixteenth over the Cushion track.

CHAMPAGNE EYES galloped easily along while prompting the pacesetter from the outside. Taking over coming into the stretch, she opened a two length lead under a hand ride and won as much the best.

CHAMPAGNE EYES carries the Superman silks of Suarez Racing, Inc. and she is trained by Doug O'Neill. Bred in Kentucky by B. D. Gibbs Farm, LLC and Fleetwood Bloodstock, she is out of the Sensitive Prince mare, Corking.

The second maiden winner for FLATTER today was NORMAN'S GIRL, who came from the clouds to break her maiden in the 6th race at Philadelphia Park going a mile and seventy yards.

NORMAN'S GIRL had finished second in her first career start and was the second choice of betters to make it to the winner's circle today. She was away well, but showed no early speed and she was ten lengths back  around the first turn and down that backstretch. She began a wide sweeping move midway around the final turn and found her best stride at the top of the stretch. She gobbled up ground, split horses inside the sixteenth pole and got up to win by a neck.

The second foal from the Cryptoclearance mare, I'm a Crypto, she was bred in Kentucky by Tony Evangelista. She races for Gianca Stable and is trained by Alfredo Velasquez.

December 29, 2007:
SIXTEENTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
MR. FLATTER
became the SIXTEENTH WINNER from the first crop of our Freshman Sire FLATTER with his victory in the 1st race at Tampa Bay Downs, a maiden going seven furlongs over the fast main track!

MR. FLATTER was away sharply from post two and established the inside position in the the battle for the lead. He began to open up three furlongs from home and was not challenged to the wire, winning by nearly four lengths.

MR. FLATTER is owned and trained by Freddie Hyatt. Bred in Florida by Four Horsemen's Ranch, he is the first foal from the Distorted Humor mare, Plenty of Silver.

December 27, 2007:
MAD FLATTER
, the son of FLATTER, made it two straight trips to the winner's circle with his victory in the 7th race at Fair Grounds, a $41,000 allowance going a mile an d one-sixteenth over the fast main track.

MAD FLATTER broke on top and cleared the field quickly from post eight. Rating kindly for jockey Robby Albarado, he took the field to midstretch before he was challenged. He responded gamely when roused and held his advantage to the wire, winning by a half-length.

MAD FLATTER was bred by Bonnie Heath Farm, LLC and he races for his breeders and partners. He is the third foal from the winning Honor Grades mare, Miss Pangea.

December 23, 2007:
FIFTEENTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
FLUFF
, the 2-year-old daughter of FLATTER is the FIFTEENTH WINNER for her Freshman Sire! The bay filly came charging through the lane and with a little help from the stewards, won the 5th race at Fair Grounds, a maiden special weight going one mile over the fast main track.

FLUFF broke from the outside post in the field of eleven and showed no early speed for the six furlongs. She circled the field coming off the far turn and flew down the long stretch, gobbling up ground with every stride and despite her best effort, she came up a head short. However, the winner was disqualified for cause interference to another rival in the stretch and the victory was awarded to FLUFF.

FLUFF is a homebred racing for the partnership of Dell Hancock and Bennett Bell Williams and she is trained by David Carroll. She is the fourth foal produced by the Boundary mare, Fence. 

December 15, 2007:
MR. HARRY
had a less than perfect beginning but it turned into quite the smooth ending in the 4th race at Turfway Park, a six and one-half furlong allowance over the Polytrack.

The son of FLATTER was bumped hard at the break and soon after, he had to steady as the run down the backstretch began. He moved up and challenged for the lead going into the far turn. Coming away with the lead, he widened his advantage and came home much the best by two and one-half lengths.

MR. HARRY was bred in Kentucky by Upson Downs Farm. He was produced by the Unbridled mare, Mesabi Range. Racing for James P. Keller and Bobby Persad, he is trained by Larry Demeritte.

December 2, 2007:
FOURTEENTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
MR. WINCHESTER
is the FOURTEENTH WINNER from the first crop of our Freshman Sire FLATTER! The bay colt proved best in teh 9th race at Turfway Park, a maiden special weight going six furlongs over the Polytrack.

MR. WINCHESTER kept in touch with the leaders through the first half-mile. Coming three wide into the stretch, he took over, opened up and then gamely held the closers safe to win by three-quarters of a length.

MR. WINCHESTER races for Hunt and Smith Ventures and he is trained by Richard Kohnhorst. Bred in Kentucky by Katie Lockhart, he is the second foal from the winning Talkin Man mare, Doubtful Guest.

UNDEFEATED FILLY FIRST STAKES WINNER FOR FLATTER!

Den-Pal’s 2-year-old Kentucky-bred filly INDY'S ALEXANDRA
remains undefeated in three starts after her victory in the $100,000 Three Ring Stakes at Calder on Saturday. The Three Ring was the second of four stakes races on Calder’s Grand Slam I program.

It was INDY'S ALEXANDRA's first attempt around two turns. The Three Ring Stakes is 1 1/16 miles on the main track and Indy’s Alexandra covered the distance in 1:48.06, leading every step of the way under jockey Elvis Trujillo.

“This filly was a little sharp the first quarter mile, coming out of those two sprints," said winning rider Elvis Trujillo. "She settled very nicely, though, and once she relaxed on the lead it helped her to get the distance. I think now that she has this two-turn race under her belt she will be good at any distance.”

“I got her about a month after they bought her at the sales (OBS June 2-year-old sales)," said winning trainer Mary Wolfson. A friend of the owner picked her out. She’s come along very quickly. I was very confident that she would get the distance today. We’ll wait for Gulfstream now…a one-turn mile or two turns.”

Marty Wolfson trains INDY'S ALEXANDRA, who has been sent off as the favorite in each of her races. Today she returned $3.00, $2.80 and $2.10. 
 
November 30, 2007:
THIRTEENTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
UNFLATTERED
is the THIRTEENTH WINNER for Freshman Sire FLATTER! The 2-year-old filly closed strongly through the stretch to win the 2nd race at Golden Gate Fields, a maiden going one mile over the Tapeta surface.

UNFLATTERED rated near the back of the pack for the first half mile. She edged closer around the far turn but with traffic ahead, she was fanned four wide into the stretch. She gamely kept closing, catching the leader passing the eighth pole and she went on to win by a length and one-quarter.

UNFLATTERED is a homebred racing for Rod and Lorraine Rodriguez and she is trained by Greg James. She is the first foal from the winning Unbridled mare, Unravel.

November 18, 2007:
TWELFTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
I'M FLATTERED
became the TWELFTH WINNER from the first crop of our Freshman Sire FLATTER with her victory in the 5th race at Philadelphia Park, a six furlong maiden special weight over the fast main track.

I'M FLATTERED was away sharply from post six and her natural speed carried her to a pace prompting position. She battled the pacesetter head and head from the three-eighths pole until deep stretch when she gained the advantage and went on to win by three-quarters of a length.

I'M FLATTERED is a homebred racing for Daniel Ryan and she is trained by Michael Pino. She is out of the Smarten mare, Tali Tubby.

November 17, 2007:
CHAMPAGNE EYES
, the daughter of FLATTER, made her second career start, pressing the pace and staying on well to finished second in the $100,000 Sharp Cat Stakes going a mile and one-sixteenth over the Cushion track at Hollywood Park.

CHAMPAGNE EYES was less than three lengths away from the winner and three and one-half lengths clear of the third place finisher.

November 14, 2007:
ELEVENTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
MAD FLATTER
, who was second in his debut in a maiden special weight at Keeneland over the Polytrack, had no trouble with the sloppy main track and he rolled to victory in the 10 race, a maiden special weight going six and one-half furlongs.

The ELEVENTH WINNER for our FRESHMAN SIRE FLATTER was off sharply from post two and he immediately engaged in a battle for the lead.  As the field came off the turn, he turned on a burst of speed and opened up a four length lead in a matter of strides. He coasted on in under a hand ride to win impressively.

MAD HATTER is a Florida homebred racing for Bonnie Heath Farm, LLC. He is the third foal from the winning Honor Grades mare, Miss Pangea.

October 19, 2007:
TENTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
CASEY'S WAY
is the TENTH WINNER for our Freshman Sire FLATTER! The bay filly made a winning debut, leading from start to finish to win the maiden special weight going four furlongs over the fast main track carded as the 1st race at Blue Ribbon Downs.

CASEY'S WAY jumped strongly from post four and and showed good early speed. He dashed to the lead and was never headed. Challenged late, he held on gamely to win by a nose.

October 11, 2007:
NINTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!
R P FIRST
is the NINTH FIRST CROP WINNER for Freshman Sire FLATTER! The 2-year-old gelding dueled every step of the mile to take the 7th race at Remington Park, a maiden special weight over the fast main track with a purse of $25,000.

The early speed challenge for R P FIRST was to his inside and the two battled each other for the first six furlongs. Putting that one away, the chestnut colt dug in strongly to outrun the closers to the wire, winning by three-quarters of a length.

R P FIRST was bred in Kentucky by William Landes, Laura Landes and Sarah Landes and he is the out of the winning and stakes-producing Spend a Buck mare, Queen Crab. He races for Rancho La Morena LLC and he is trained by Martin Lozano.

October 8, 2007:
EIGHTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!

SAM ANGELO
broke his maiden "as the rider pleased' and he became the EIGHTH WINNER from the first crop of our Freshman Sire FLATTER! The chestnut gelding was seven lengths best in a geared down performance over five furlongs in the 4th race at Portland Meadows.

SAM ANGELO put himself right into the race and he took the lead with two furlongs to run. He opened up with consumate ease and coasted in for the win.

Racing for William Grosso and SAM ANGELO is trained by Jim Fergason, he was bred in Kentucky by Hugh Fitzsimons and Henry White. He is the fourth foal from the winning Eastern Echo mare, It's an Echo.

September 29, 2007:
SEVENTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!

INDY'S ALEXANDRA
is the SEVENTH WINNER from the first crop of our Freshman Sire FLATTER! The 2-year-old filly closed stoutly through the stretch to win her racing debut, the 3rd race at Calder Race Course, a five furlong maiden special weight over the fast main track.

INDY'S ALEXANDRA was nearly five lengths off the pace down the backstretch and going into the far turn. She moved past the second place runner but the leader was four lengths in front at the top of the stretch. She dug in and with long, ground gobbling strides, took out after the leader. She caught her and went on by inside the sixteenth pole to win by two lengths.

INDY'S ALEXANDRA races for Del-Pal Stables and she is trained by Marty Wolfson. Bred in Kentucky by Hargus and Sandra Sexton, she is out of the winning Ghazi mare, Hey Ghaz.

September 19, 2007:
A dark bay colt by FLATTER brought SIXTEEN TIMES his stud fee at the 2007 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. Consigned by Claiborne Farm, Agent, he is a half-brother to two winners and is out of the winning The Prime Minister mare, Fob, a full or half-sister to six stakes horses. He was purchased by Joseph Brocklebank, Agent for $80,000.

September 2, 2007:
FIRST STAKES PERFORMER FOR FLATTER!

BOLD CHILD, the first winner for FLATTER, became his FIRST STAKES PERFORMER with her second place finish in the $120,000 Sorority Stakes going six furlongs over the fast main track at Monmouth Park.

BOLD CHILD trailed the field early and made a wide, sweeping move into the stretch. She closed willingly, but the winner had gotten first run. She finished two lengths away and was nearly four lengths clear of the third place finisher.

September 2, 2007:
SIXTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!

HANDSOME BUSTER
is the SIXTH WINNER for our Freshman Sire FLATTER! The chestnut colt went from last-to-first to break his maiden in the opener at Calder Race Course going seven furlongs over the fast main track.

HANDSOME BUSTER was away a step slowly and trailed the field soon after the break. He gradually moved up along the rail as the field raced up the backstretch and moved a position just off the first flight going into the far turn. Switching to the outside midway around the turn, he continued to close and was near the front at the top of the stretch. He took the lead passing the eighth pole and drew away to win by more than two lengths.

HANDSOME BUSTER races for Judson Van Worp and he is trained by J. Braddy. Bred in Florida by Rebecca L. Hayden, he is out of the Sportin' Life mare, Beside.

August 26, 2007:
FIFTH WINNER FOR FLATTER!

SLEWPY GIRL
became the FIFTH WINNER for our Freshman Sire FLATTER with her determined debut victory in the 6th race at Ellis Park going six furlongs over the fast main track!

SLEWPY GIRL was bumped at the start and was out in the four path for the run down the backstretch and around the turn. Overcoming the trouble and the lost ground, she didn't not give in. Setting her sights on the leader, she closed gamely, caught the leader inside the sixteenth pole and kept on running to win by a length and one-quarter.

SLEWPY GIRL races for Scat Daddy Racing LLC and she is trained by Garry Simms. Bred in Kentucky by Charles Parker and Bradley Purcell, she is the third foal from the Private Terms mare, Pink Slippers.

August 14, 2007:
THIRD AND FOURTH WINNERS FOR FLATTER!

Freshman Sire FLATTER was represented by his THIRD and FOURTH winners in the last two days.

Winner three was the chestnut colt GRAMSCI, who broke his maiden going 1300 meters in the third race at Hipódromo de Monterrico in Peru on August 12. Rating well off the pace, he uncorked an impressive rail skimming move to catch the leaders in the last jump.

GRAMSCI was bred in Pennsylvania by Diane Ness and Charles Ness. He is the fifth foal from the Forty Niner mare, Hem.

The fourth winner for FLATTER is the chestnut filly, FLATTER MATTERS, who scored a four length victory in the 2nd race at Prairie Meadows, a maiden special weight going five and one-half furlongs over the fast main track.

FLATTER MATTERS let the speedier types go on through the opening quarter. She gathered momentum with a ground saving inside move around the turn and then moved off the rail for the run through the stretch. She caught the leaders and turned on a burst of speed passing the sixteenth pole that carried her away from the field and on to her open length win.

FLATTER MATTERS races for D and D Racing Stable and Mike Natale and she is trained by Natale. Bred in Kentucky by Maureen Merkler and Lonnie Umdenstock, she is out of the stakes-producing Cure The Blues mare, Kapalana.

MR. HARRY
dominated the field in the 2nd race at Arlington Park to the second winner for our Freshman Sire FLATTER!

MR. HARRY dashed out of the gate in the one mile maiden special weight and set forth to gallop the field into submission. He opened up a daylight lead through the stretch and coasted home the easiest of winners, crossing under the wire four and one-half lengths best.

MR. HARRY races for James P. Keller and he is trained by Larry Demeritte. Bred in Kentucky by Upson Downs Farm, he is out of the Unbridled mare, Mesabi Range.

July 16, 2007:
FLATTER
had three yearlings sell for an average of $101,667 at the 2007 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July Selected  Yearlings Sale.

The top price of $150,000 was paid for HIP 237, a dark bay colt who was purchased from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, Agent XXVI by Buzz Chase, Agent. He is the second foal from the winning Quiet American mare, Be a Quiet Honey, a half-sister to three stakes horses.

HIP 283 is a bay colt, named Flattener, who was consigned by Bluewater Sales LLC, Agent II and purchased by Oxbow Racing LLC for $85,000. Produced by the Cresta Rider mare, Cresta Lil, he is a half-brother to seven winners, including the stakes winning, eighteen-time winner Our Best Man.

Hip 48 was a bay colt consigned by Bluewater Sales LLC, Agent II and purchased by Ken and Sarah Ramsey for $70,000. He is the second foal from the winning Gone West mare, Kilcoe Castle, a daughter of Irish Hwt from 5-7 furlongs and dual stakes producer, Flowing.

FIRST WINNER FOR FLATTER!!
BOLD CHILD
became the FIRST WINNER for our Freshman Sire FLATTER!! The dark bay filly impressively scored in her career debut, taking the five furlong maiden special weight the opened the holiday card at Monmouth Park.

Contested over the fast main track, BOLD CHILD broke sharply from post five and immediately engaged in the pace battle. Putting away one filly, she took sole possession of the lead and when challenged by a fresh face, the dark bay simply lengthened her stride and away she went. Proving much the best, she coasted home more than five lengths in front. She stopped the timer in :57 3/5.

BOLD CHILD races for Zarba Hills Stables and she is trained by Timothy Hills. Bred in Pennsylvania G & R Stables, she is the first foal from the winning Housebuster mare, Protect the Child.

April 17, 2007:
FLATTER COLT SELLS FOR $95,000 at KEENELAND APRIL
A colt from the first crop of Freshman Sire FLATTER was purchase for $95,000 at the Keeneland 2007 April Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale.

The bay colt from the Eddie Woods, Agent III consignment had turned in two outstanding previews. On April 9, he breezed one furlong in :10 2/5 over the Polytrack. He came back on April 16 to breeze a quarter-mile over the same surface in :21 2/5.

Purchased by Hunt & Smith Ventures, she is the second foal from the winning Talkin Man mare, Doubtful Guest, a half-sister to multiple stakes winner and producer, Lordy Lordy.

March 28, 2007:
$140,000 FLATTER COLT at OBS MARCH!
The only juvenile offered by Freshman Sire FLATTER at the 2007 Ocala Breeders' Sales Company March Two Year Old Sale on March 28 sold for $140,000! That is TWENTY-EIGHT TIMES his stud fee!

HIP 298 is a bay colt who was consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent V and he was purchased by Frank Fletcher Racing Operation. A half-brother to two winners, including the multiple stakes winner, Carolina Sky, he is out of the Afleet mare, Afleet Summer. This is also the family of record setting graded stakes winner, Storm on the Loose. He previewed going one furlong on March 18 in :11 1/5 and again on March 24 in :11.

November 15, 2006:
A weanling colt by Flatter was sold for more than THIRTEEN TIMES his stud fee at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. Consigned by Gainesway, Agent XXIX, he is out of the winning Gone West mare, Kilcoe Castle. He was purchased by Pert Bloodstock for $67,000.

FLATTER filly for $190,000 at Keeneland September. Sold as Hip No. 1759, the yearling half-sister to 3yo Graded stakes runner Sabatini was purchased by M L Bloodstock Ltd. from the consignment of Blandford Stud (Padraig Campion), agent. She is among the 16 Flatter yearlings sold in Kentucky this summer averaging more than 7 times his fee.
