$250,000 STRONG HOPE YEARLING AT FASIG-TIPTON SARATOGA

A bay filly from the second crop of multiple stakes winner STRONG HOPE was purchased for $250,000 by Lane's End Bloodstock. Consigned by Bluewater Sales LLC, Agent I, she is out of the Tunerup mare, Ionlyhaveeyesforyu.

STRONG HOPE
has three colts and two fillies consigned to the 2008 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearlings sale that begins on August 4 in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Hip 39 is a bay colt consigned by Denali Stud (Craig & Holly Bandoroff), Agent I. He is a half-brother to four winners, including the multiple stakes winner Summer Cruise and the Group 1-placed Rebuttal. Produced by the winning Rubiano mare, Reboot, who is a daughter of multiple stakes winner and stakes producer, Launch Light Tek. This is the family of Group 2 winner Free Round and G3 winner, Jim.

Hip 43 is a bay filly consigned by Gainesway, Agent. A half-sister to a winner, she is out of the El Prado (IRE) mare, Rose of Summer, a half-sister to G1 winner Siphonic and the stakes winning Mountain Girl. This is the immediate family of multiple graded stakes winner Dixie Dot Com adn the graded stakes winning sires General Meeting and Carson City.

Hip 59 is a dark bay colt consigned by Gainesway, Agent. He is the third foal from the stakes-winning the graded stakes-placed Tricky Creek mare, Soccory, who is a half-sister to the graded stakes winner Recommended List and a graded stakes producer. This is the family of G1 winners Twilight Ridge and Crested Wave.

Hip 111 is a chestnut colt consigned by Three Chimneys Sales, Agent. Produced by the Believe It mare, Bisbee, he is half-brother to the multiple stakes winner and multiple stakes producer Taste the Passion and the stakes winner Bisbee's Prospect. This is the family of graded stakes winners Buy the Barrel and Mauk Four.

STRONG HOPE has five yearlings from his second crop consigned to the New Sires Showcase at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July Yearling Sale on July 14.

Hip 49 was a chestnut filly consigned by Highclere Sales, Agent III. A half-sister to two winners from two to race from the mare, he is out of the winning Lord At War (ARG) mare, Pretty Eyes, who is out of the multiple stakes winner Anitas Surprise and half-sister to the stakes winner Another Anita. This is the family of graded stakes winner Crafty Drone.

Hip 62 is a dark bay filly consigned by Eaton Sales, Agent. A half-sister to three winners including the graded stakes performer, Rungius, she is out of the stakes winning Gilded Time mare, Remuda. Second dam Matched Again is a full sister to graded stakes winner Matching. This is also the family of twenty-time winner, Icy Morn.

Hip 137 is a bay colt consigned by Blackburn Farm (Michael T. Barnett, Agent), Agent. Produced by the winning Danzatore mare, Turn and Sparkle, he is a half-brother to four winners including the stakes winner Sirpa. Hip 239 is a chestnut colt who is property of Liberation Farm Et Al, Brandywine Farm (Jim & Pam Robinson), Agent. A half-brother to four winners, he is out of the stakes winning Woodman mare, Ethyl Mae, who is a three-quarters sister to multiple graded stakes winning millionaire, Mystic Lady. This is the family of classic winning millonaire Fourstars Allstar and graded stakes winning millionaire, Fourstardave.

Hip 265 is a bay filly consigned by Bluewater Sales, LLC, Agent III. She is the first foal from the stakes-placed Distorted Humor mare, Good Humor Gal, a half-sister to two stakes horses and three stakes producers including the dam of G2 winner Tap the Admiral. This is the family of G1 winners Prize Spot, Hernando (FR) and Johann Quatz (FR).

June 23, 2008:
FIRST WINNERS FOR FRESHMAN SIRE STRONG HOPE!
Multiple Graded Stakes Winning Freshman Sire STRONG HOPE was represented by his first two winners in the colt ART PREVIEW and the filly DELICADA.

ART PREVIEW, who was purchased for $103,688 at the Tattersalls Guineas 2YO Breeze Up Sale, made a sparkling debut today over the all weather at Lingfield.

Lining up against seven other juveniles, ART PREVIEW tracked the early leaders and moved to seriously challenge two furlongs from home. Taking the lead from the odds-on favorite, he quickly opened up and was nearly three lengths best at the line.

ART PREVIEW races for Mr. R. A. Green and he is trained by Gary Moore. Bred by Ponchartrain Stud, he was produced by the G3-placed Night Shift mare, Elle Est Revenue (IRE).

DELICADA, who was bred in Kentucky by the partnership of Liberation Farm and Oratis, gamely broke her maiden by a nose, taking the field wire-to-wire going five furlongs in the 2nd race at Hipodromo de las Americas in Mexico.

DELICADA was produced by the multiple stakes-placed Ogygian mare, Wave Me Home.

April 1, 2008:
STRONG HOPE
has four juveniles from his first crop consigned to the Keeneland April 2008 Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale being held in two evening sessions on April 8 and 9, both beginning at 7:00PM. The preview will be held Monday, April 7 beginning at 10:30AM.

Hip 26 is a bay colt consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent LVIII. A half-brother to two winners, he is out of the stakes winning, multiple graded stakes performing Allen's Alydar mare, Irish Daisy. This is the immediate family of French classic winner Pearl Bracelet and current 3-year-old on the Derby trail, Anak Nakal. He will sell on April 8.

Hip 78 is a dark bay colt consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent XI. He is out of the stakes winning Valid Wager mare, Wage a Penny, whose dam is a half-sister to G1 winner, Crusader Sword and the stakes winning and stakes-producer, Copper Butterfly.  He will sell on April 8.

Hip 124 is a bay colt consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, Agent IV. A half-brother to a winner, he is out of the Storm Cat mare, Her Own Terms, a daughter of Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Gal in a Ruckas. Classic winner Clean Sweep (NZ) multiple G1 winner Habibti are from this family. He will sell on April 9.

Hip 134 is a bay filly consigned by Stephens Thoroughbreds, Agent forVision Sales 2007 LLC. A half-sister to a winner, she is out of the multiple stakes-placed Broad Brush mare, Looking Afar, who is a half-sister to Graded stakes winner Survivalist. Third dam is the blue hen foundation mare, Con Game.  She will sell on April 9.

March 18, 2008:
Mutiple Graded Stakes winner STRONG HOPE has one juvenile from his first crop consigned to the 2008 Ocala Breeders' Sales Company March Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale which is being conducted on March 18-19.

HIP 39 is a bay filly consigned by Hoby and Layna Kight, Agent II. The first foal from the stakes-placed Salt Lake mare, Raintree Lake, her dam is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winning multimillionaire Perfect Drift and to the dam of graded stakes performer, Gal on the Go. February 22, 2008:
STRONG HOPE
has four juveniles from his first crop consigned to the Fasig-Tipton Calder Selected Two-Year-Olds In Training Sale on February 26.

HIP 31 is dark bay colt from the consignment of Blazing Meadows Farm LLC, Agent. Produced by the Crafty Prospector mare, Pennant Winner, he is a half brother to two winners including the graded stakes winner, Secret Liason. His dam is a full or half-sister to the stakes winning R. Associate and to the dam of multiple Grade 1 winner, Raging Fever and successul young sire Stormin Fever.

He previewed going one furlong in :11.

HIP 48 is a bay filly consigned by M. W. Miller III, Agent. A half-sister to three winners, including the graded stakes winner Sabellina, she is out of the multiple graded stakes winning He's Bad mare, Restored Hope. This is also the family of stakes winner Common Objective.

HIP 255 is a dark bay colt consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent XXIII. Produced by the graded stakes winning Lord at War (ARG) mare Lady Dora, she is a half sister to two winners, including Law N Dora, who was undefeated in three starts last season at two. Her second dam is the multiple stakes winner Doradoradora, who produced seven additional winners to the dam of this filly.

February 2, 2008:
Multiple Graded Stakes winner STRONG HOPE has one juvenile from his first crop consigned to the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company 2008 February Sale of Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training, which will be held on February 12, beginning at 12:00 PM.

HIP 148 is a bay colt named Kranz, consigned by McKathan Bros., Agent I. Produced by the Chief's Crown mare, All the Crown, he is a half-brother to four stakes horses and six winners, including the graded stakes winner Devil's Preacher and the stakes winning, Group 1 performer, Coral Reef. His dam is a half-sister to G1 winner, Personal Hope and this is also the family of graded stakes winners My Trusty Cat (G1), Dixie Flag (G2), Best of Luck (G2) and Flamingo Road (G2).

August 6-7, 2007:
Yearlings from the first crop of STRONG HOPE averaged $167,500 at the Fasig-Tipton 2007 Saratoga Selected Yearlings Sale!

A colt and a filly each sold for $250,000! The colt, named History Start Now, was purchased by Shadwell Estate Co. LTD. Brought to the sales as the property of Machmer Hall/The Answer LLC, Bluewater Sales LLC, Agent, he is out of the Salt Lake mare, Third Street. A half-brother to two winners, including the stake-winning Doc's Doll, he is from the family of Monmouth Invitational winner, Balustrade.

The filly was purchased by M. W. Miller III, Agent. Property of BAN Partnership, Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services, Inc. (J. Stuart), Agent, she is out of the multiple graded stakes winning He's Ban mare, Restored Hope. The bay filly is a half-sister to graded stakes winner, Sabellina. 

Another six figure purchase was HIP 186 who was purchased for $120,000 by Cobra Farm. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, Agent XXVI, he is out of the graded stakes performer and producer, Copelan's Angel. He is a half-brother to the stakes winning Fly Away Angel and another winner.

The only buy-back by STRONG HOPE was bid in at $170,000.

July 16, 2007:
STRONG HOPE YEARLINGS AVERAGE OVER $100,000 at FASIG-TIPTON JULY
The yearlings from the first frop of STRONG HOPE averaged $135,000 at the 2007 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July Selected  Yearlings Sale.

HIP  218 was a dark bay colt who was consigned by Elm Tree Farm LLC (Mr. & Mrs. Jody Huckabay), Agent V, was purchased by $220,000 by W. S. Farish. He is the third foal from the stakes winning Slew City Slew mare, Ahead By A Century, a half-sister to the stakes winner and producer A Goodlookin Broad.

HIP 51 was a dark bay colt consigned by JLT Bloodstock and purchased by $210,000 by Buzz Chase. He is out of the graded stakes winning Lord at War (ARG) mare, Lady Dora, a daughter of multiple stakes winner Doradoradora.

HIP 309 was a chestnut filly consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent LXX and she was purchased by Cobra Farm for $110,000. She is out of the multiple graded stakes winning Slew's Royalty mare, Enjoy the Moment, a full sister to stakes winner and stakes producer Miss Inn Zone.

July 16-17, 2007:
STRONG HOPE has seven yearlings consigned to the 2007 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July Selected Yearlings Sale being held July 16-17 in Lexington.

November 2006:
Weanlings from the first crop of STRONG HOPE made a strong showing at the 2006 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale with nine individuals selling for six figures!

Topping the group was Hip 814, a dark bay filly who was purchased by Ten Broeck Farm, Inc. (WA) for $300,000. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, Agent LVIII, she is out of the winning Holy Bull mare, Litany, a full sister to Grade 1 winner Confessional. She is from the family of champions Chris Evert and Winning Colors.

Hip 54, a bay colt out of the stakes winning Slew City Slew mare, Dance the Slew was purchased by Orchard Lane for $280,000. Consigned by Gracefield, Agent, he is from the family of classic winner Codex.

Hip 544, the dark bay colt out of the stakes winning, graded stakes performing Tricky Creek mare, Soccory, was purchased by Al Eile Stud for $175,000. Consigned by James B. Keogh/Grovendale, Agent I, he is from the family of graded stakes winners Wavy Waves and Recommended List.

Other individuals brought $160,000, $150,000, $140,000, etc.
